In 2018 she began working as an educator at the Institute of Inquiry in Joshua Tree where she developed and taught a music program for kindergarteners, giving children the fundamentals for music making along with hand crafting simple instruments. In 2019 she wrote the curriculum for the hit class - Geometry through Abstract Art, where she helped children learn their fundamental concepts for math by exploring and engaging in hands on abstract art projects.
Before Covid19 saw school closures, Megan was a teaching artist in the Morongo Unified School District for the 501c3 Groundwork Arts. The afterschool program believes that all students deserve access to the arts, and are committed to filling instructional gaps and providing pathways for students to develop the creative thinking skills needed to navigate the 21st century.
Through encouragement and discipline, Megan holds the space necessary for children to develop their own creative thoughts, and guides them in the processes to applied learning. She knows every child is unique and education is not a one size fits all experience. Megan’s Independent Learning Program provides children the opportunity and guidance to explore their unique methods of learning, and hone useful tools for confidence in self awareness, expression and interpersonal relationships.

TUTORING SESSIONS ARE AVAILABLE CORE SUBJECT CLASSES, VISUAL ARTS AND MUSIC AT OUT OF POCKET PUBLIC RATES AS WELL AS TO THOSE ENROLLED IN HOMESCHOOLING AND CHARTER SCHOOLS SUCH AS BUT NOT LIMITED TO SAGE OAK AND iLEAD. SESSIONS MAY BE HELD INDIVIDUALY OR IN GROUPS OF UP TO FIVE CHILDREN. ONLINE LEARNING AS WELL AS IN PERSON ARE AVAILABLE.
